I’m Amy, I’ve been baking for as long as I can remember, inspired by both of my grandmas who were passionate bakers. That early love of sweet treats led me to dream of a career in cake decorating, though for a long time I had no idea where to begin.

After struggling to find a role in the industry without professional experience, I decided to take the leap and create my own opportunity and so in 2019, Cakes by Amy was born.

Just one year later, I was able to leave my day job and pursue my business full-time. I’ve never looked back and I feel so incredibly lucky to spend my days doing what I love.
